Studio Policies and Procedures
Tardiness
We run a very tight schedule. There will most likely be a class going on before and after the class you are attending. In order to ensure that we begin your class on time, it is important that you arrive early. Please do not be late to class. Once the class has started, you will not be allowed to join the class. If you are late, you will not be able to participate in class and your class payment will not be refunded. Please note that you can make-up your missed a class as long as it is before the expiration date. Tardiness is not only disruptive, but this is also a safety issue.
Cell Phones
Please turn off your phones or put them in vibrate mode during classes. And this hopefully goes without saying – please do not answer your cell phone during class. It is a disruption for the entire class so please use courtesy. If you must answer your cell phone, please remove yourself from the class to do so.
Specialty Fitness & Pole Fitness Series/Class Payments
Due to the small class size, PRE-PAYMENT AND PRE-REGISTRATION ARE REQUIRED. All payments and registration must be received 6 hours prior to class to qualify for the classes. Purchases can be made online, by phone, or in person. All students participating in class must be 18 yrs of age or older. If younger than 18 years old, you must have parental permission and a consent form signed by parents or legal guardian. No one under the age of 16 years of age permitted.
Expirations are as follows:
30 days – Pole Tease Intro Class Pass, 1 Class Pass, 3 Class Package
60 days – 5 week Pole Foundation Series, 5 Class Package
90 days – 10 Class Package, Gift certificates
Guests & Class Observation
Please understand that we do not allow guests or observers. We uphold and value the privacy of all of our students and we are sure that you would appreciate the same courtesy.
Student Schedule Changes
A student can cancel their enrollment/reservation in a class prior to the start date and time of that class at their discretion 6 hours prior to class start. If, for any reason, you are unable to attend your registered class, please either go online and remove yourself from the class or notify us immediately. If you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for and do not remove yourself or call for our staff to remove you 6 hours prior to the start of your class, you WILL be charged a $30 NO SHOW/LATE CANCEL FEE. REMEMBER, all it takes is a phone call, email, or click of the mouse to remove yourself from a class and avoid this fee. If we are unable to charge your card on file, your account will be suspended immediately until fee is paid.
You can make-up your missed class before the expiration date.
Class Refunds
All Classes are non-refundable or non-transferable.
Merchandise Refunds
All merchandise purchases are final sale. We do not offer merchandise refunds, however, we will make exchanges for defective merchandise. If you purchase merchandise online, you must pick up all merchandise at the studio – we do not ship.
Schedule Changes & Modifications
Please be advised that a class may be canceled at any time at the discretion of the studio. When this happens, Chic Physique does its best to accommodate our students, however, if we are unable to do so a credit will be applied to your Chic Physique account for you to use for another class within original expiration date. Please be advised that we do not offer refunds. If you become disabled for at least 3 months or more during the session term and the disability is confirmed in writing by a physician, you are entitled to an extension of the session.
Studio Closure for Holidays
Chic Physique is closed for the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Easter Sunday
- Memorial Day Weekend
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve & Day
Inclement Weather
Chic Physique follows Montgomery County & Frederick County Public Schools Delays and Closings: If Montgomery County Schools are closed all day, Chic Physique will be closed all day as well and classes will not be held. If schools close mid-day for weather conditions, we will close mid-day as well and classes will not be held. We will endeavor to update the website to inform you of any changes. **Classes will not be rescheduled due to weather. Your Chic Physique account will be credited and you may use that credit to apply to another available class. Expiring expiration dates will not be extended. We apologize for any inconvenience.**
We do reserve the right to close early for the safety of our staff and students. We will do our best to contact everyone in advance if we do.
